Jerry Coffey, PhD was a co-founder of our practice and worked for over 35 years specializing in child and school psychology for children ages 0-10 years. His clinical expertise in evaluations and treatment for ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Learning Disabilities, Anxiety, Depression and other childhood and parenting difficulties defined his career. He lived in Western North Carolina since 1970 and deeply enjoyed spending time with his family and finding adventure in doing so. His adventures most always included his rescue dog, Walter, going to races, (especially IndyCar racing), hiking, and camping. While his specialities were innumerable, he also enjoyed spending time helping others in many capacities, though not in the formal office setting in the latter part of his career. He continued to offer supervision to psychologists and therapists on our staff and helped mentor anyone who had an interest in practicing Psychology. His wealth of knowledge was so deeply appreciated, admired and respected throughout the communites and beyond. He will be sorely missed, but, the legacy continues as we carry on the adventure...
In Loving Memory of our dear Jerry... Miss you daily...
