Suzanne Stone, MA, LPC "I treat individuals, families, couples and teens ages 14 and up. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy & Solution Based Therapy. I emphasize a short- term, goal - oriented approach to treatment. The goal is to identify patterns of thinking or behavior that are causing difficulty and recognizing how our thoughts affect our behavior then challenging those thoughts to improve our behaviors. I ask clients to come in with 3 goals they hope to achieve with counseling. I treat the whole person. We look at all areas of your life including physical health, nutrition, interests, work, family and relationships to see how one area may be getting out of balance can negatively affect all other areas.
When not at Sylva Clinical-PSYCHOLOGY!, I am at the MadStone Cafe and Catching Light Books at WCU, of which I am also the co-operator of.
All are welcome regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation or gender identity. I believe respecting the rights of all people is paramount to the success of our society. "
